Farhan Exports began in 2001 with eight benches and a single article — a hand-stitched belt for a German importer who still orders from us. Everything since has been built on the same principle: the second order should be indistinguishable from the first. Cutting, skiving, stitching, finishing and packing all happen on our own floor in Kanpur, so there is one team to hold to account and one set of records behind every article number you place.

FE-10 / Bags & holdalls
Our largest line and the one most often private-labelled. Structured or unlined, hand-burnished edges, solid brass or antique-nickel hardware, cotton twill or pigskin linings, and branding applied the way your retail team specifies.

We buy from tanneries we have used for two decades and inspect every lot before it reaches the cutting table. Shade cards are sealed with you before bulk, so the colour you approve is the colour that ships.
01Day 1–3
Lots are inspected at the tannery for substance, shade and grain defects, then matched against the sealed shade card for your order. Rejected hides never reach the floor.
02Day 3–6
Clicking press for volume articles, hand cutting where the panel has to work around a growth mark or brand. Panels are laid to the stretch direction so a bag keeps its shape after a season of use.
03Day 5–9
Edges split down for clean folds, reinforcements bonded, linings cut and matched. This is the stage most factories rush, and it is the reason their edges lift after six months.
04Day 8–24
Flat-bed, post-bed and cylinder-arm machines for construction; hand saddle stitching where an article calls for it. Stitch count per inch is fixed per article and checked, not left to the operator.
05Day 20–32
Edges burnished or painted in three coats with sanding between each, hardware set, creasing and embossing applied, then the article is cleaned and conditioned.
06Day 30–38
Four checkpoints — after cutting, after stitching, after finishing and before packing — with pull tests on handles and fittings, and metal detection on every piece. Third-party inspectors are welcome on the same floor.
07Day 38–45
Dust bags, tissue, boxes and cartons to your retail specification, barcoded and ready for shelf. Export documents are prepared in parallel so goods are not waiting on paperwork.
Most of what leaves our floor carries someone else's name. Send a tech pack and we will quote against it. Send a reference sample and our pattern room will develop it. Send a sketch and we will tell you honestly what it will cost to make well.
An order is not finished when it leaves the floor. Our documentation team prepares the set your clearing agent expects, so goods are not sitting at a port over a missing certificate.
